Vrbata was scoreless with a minus-1 rating, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Saturday's 3-0 loss against the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
Vrbata was playing in his 1,000th career NHL game and he was honored with a pregame ceremony. The 35-year-old Czech winger might have been scoreless Saturday, but he has proven he has plenty left in the tank this season. Vrbata has 17 goals and 51 points to make him an attractive roster option in most fantasy pools, especially those not using the plus-minus category.

Vrbata scored in Thursday's 5-4 home loss to the Red Wings, which was decided in the shootout.
EDGE Analysis
Vrbata is the NHL's all-time leader in shootout goals at 45, but in the final stanza, he was unable to work his magic against Petr Mrazek, who robbed him up high with the glove. Still, Vrbata is the team leader in goals (17), assists (34) -- plus he has 17 power-play points, so there's plenty of value here despite the Coyotes being well out of the playoff picture.

Vrbata posted his 16th goal of the season in Saturday's 5-4 win against the Devils.
EDGE Analysis
Vrbata continues to be one of the most streaky scorers in the NHL. He snapped a five-game goal drought with the marker on Saturday. The last time he ended a lengthy stretch without a goal he light the lamp in four consecutive games. He is on pace to flirt with 60 points and he could set a new career high if he can go on an extended hot streak. His previous season best is 63 points set in 2014-15 with the Canucks.

Vrbata extended his point streak to nine games Sunday, notching his 15th goal of the season and adding a helper in a win over Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
That's consecutive multi-point games for Vrbata, who is one of the hottest players in the NHL right now. He's been on an offensive tear since mid-January and appears destined to crack 50 points for the third time in the last four years. He skates on the top line and plays on the power play, so while the Coyotes may be one of the worst teams in the NHL, Vrbata is worth owning in most leagues based on his role and consistent production.

Vrbata picked up a goal and an assist in Friday's 5-2 loss against the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
Vrbata is working on a season-high three-game goal-scoring streak. In fact it's his longest stretch since burying four goals over a three-game stretch from Nov. 19-23, 2014. He has a decent shot at cracking the 60-point barrier in back-to-back seasons for the first time in his career.

Vrbata assisted on the first goal of the game and collected three shots on net during Monday's blowout win over Calgary.
EDGE Analysis
Quietly, Vrbata has 13 points -- two goals -- through his past 14 games with a 4.2 shooting percentage. However, it is worth noting seven of those points came in just two outings. Still, the veteran is a potential candidate to be traded at the deadline because of his power-play prowess and cheap one-year contract ($1 million). He could find himself in a more favorable fantasy situation to end the season. Vrbata is worth owning in deeper seasonal leagues, and if he lands with the right team, he could warrant universal ownership.

Vrbata recorded a goal and four points, including a power-play assist, in a 5-3 victory over the Lighting on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The 35-year-old posted a point on four of Arizona's five goals on his way to a season-high. He also had three assists on Jan. 13 versus Winnipeg. Since then, Vrbata has two goals and nine points in six games. He's on pace to make January his best month of 2016-17 yet.

Vrbata netted a goal on a penalty shot with seven seconds left in Tuesday's 3-2 loss against Dallas.
EDGE Analysis
Sure, it was a garbage-time goal, but it was pretty all the same, as Vrbata pulled a brilliant move to beat Kari Lehtonen. If you can get past his poor plus-minus, Vrbata has offered solid production for deeper fantasy formats, as he owns 23 points in 35 games.

Vrbata registered two power-play assists and five shots on net during Wednesday's loss to Edmonton.
EDGE Analysis
With just one goal on 41 shots (2.4 shooting percentage) in December, Vrbata is eyeing positive regression in the goals column. He's been the lone reliable offensive contributor for Arizona but still sports an underwhelming eight goals and 22 points through 33 games for the season. Vrbata is worth owning in the majority of seasonal leagues because of his high shot volume (3.15 shots per game), and in the right matchups, he's a potential value play in daily contests because he is typically priced for profit.

Vrbata was rewarded with a goal Sunday against the Oilers after throwing the puck at the net.
EDGE Analysis
Vrbata opened the scoring in Sunday's 2-1 victory over Edmonton by firing the puck towards the net only to see it redirected into the net off a defender. The tally was the 35-year-old's seventh of the season and third point in his previous five outings. The winger is one of the few bright spots on an otherwise struggling Yotes squad.
