"The Swedish and Finnish League is better for sure and I would say the Danish League is like the East Coast League level," said Regin. "It's a different kind of hockey. There are lot of young guys with a lot of skill. There's no fighting, but it's competitive, with a lot of good players."

Peter Regin has agreed to a one-year, one-way contract Friday. Regin would have been a restricted free agent. The financial terms haven't been disclosed, but he's probably not making much more than the $1,050,000 million he earned in 2011-12. He was limited to just four points in 10 games due to a shoulder injury.
