Peter Mueller has been working hard at Savology.com Iceplex in preparation for the new season. He said he is symptom-free from the concussion issue that plagued him for the past two years and he feels 100 percent healthy. "It's 100 percent behind me. I tell people all the time I haven't felt this clear since my first year which is awesome," said Mueller. "In some aspects I'm like a rookie again, obviously with the past. I'm thrilled to be with all these new faces and everyone's welcomed me with open arms. It's not every day you can play hockey in South Florida." Mueller is confident he can bounce back to the level he played at in his first year, when he scored 22 goals and added 32 assists in 81 contests with the Phoenix Coyotes, and match those totals if he plays a full schedule. He should be able to provide the Panthers with some much-needed secondary scoring if he can keep himself in the lineup.

Peter Mueller feels good going into the 2012-13 campaign. "There are no red flags," Mueller said. "Everything is a go." Mueller has played in just 47 games over the last three seasons, so he's a considerable risk to fantasy owners. However, he still has the potential to establish himself as a good top-six forward. He's not a bad guy to pick up late in standard league drafts.

Peter Mueller has signed a one-year/$1.75 million contract with the Florida Panthers. Mueller has been limited to just 32 games over the last two seasons due to concussion problems. He's a capable top-six forward, but his injury history makes him a big risk to fantasy owners. Still, he's worth grabbing as a late round pick in standard league drafts.

Peter Mueller didn't receive a qualifying offer from the Colorado Avalanche. Mueller is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1. After missing the entire 2010-11 campaign and being limited to 32 games last season, Mueller is likely to sign a cheap, one-year contract. He has the potential to record 40-50 points next season if he can stay healthy, but he's not a safe bet.

Peter Mueller was a healthy scratch Saturday night against Vancouver. Chuck Kobasew, who had been a healthy scratch for the Avs' last four games, played in Mueller's place. If healthy, Mueller is too good a player to be sitting in the press box. Look for him to respond with a strong effort once he returns to the Colorado lineup.

Peter Mueller is expected to start Thursday's match versus Columbus on the fourth line. "I'm there wherever the coach puts me. I want to play," said Mueller. "I'm just going to try and make the most of the opportunity I'm given." He lost his spot in the top-six forward group due to a torso injury, which sidelined him for six games, and because of the emergence of newcomer Steve Downie.

Peter Mueller was not one of the Avalanche's top 12 forwards at practice Wednesday. Coach Joe Sacco cautioned everyone not to make too much of the practice although it would be hard to see why not. Mueller may have received a reprieve as Chuck Kobasew suffered a back injury in practice and could miss Thursday's game.

Peter Mueller (torso) will play in Monday's game against Anaheim. It was previously reported that Mueller was healthy enough to play, but it was originally thought that he would spend the contest in the press box. Colorado was reluctant to alter their lineup as they attempt to earn a fourth straight win, but they will.

Peter Mueller has recovered from a torso injury. That being said, Mueller will not play in Monday's contest. Colorado is riding a three-game winning streak and they don't want to mix up their lineup to accommodate Mueller's return.
