Grossmann (upper body) won't be a lineup option for Thursday's game against the Jets, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Grossmann has been cleared to play at this point after missing the previous three weeks with the injury, but the coaching staff believes the blueliner is in need of some more practice time. His return to action could come over the weekend against the Leafs, with Carlo Colaiacovo likely moving out of the lineup to accommodate him.

Grossman (upper body) has been cleared to play, and while he won't be available for Tuesday's game against the Coyotes, he hope to return by the end of the week, CSN Philadelphia reports. Grossman is approaching the end of his three-week timetable, which seems to have been a near-perfect estimation. He still needs to log a few practices, but he hasn't been ruled out beyond Tuesday.

Grossmann (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Sunday. The move allowed the Flyers to recall goalie Rob Zepp from AHL Lehigh Valley. Grossmann is set to miss at least three weeks due to the injury he suffered during last Thursday's game.

Grossmann is expected to miss three weeks due to the upper-body injury he suffered Thursday against the Capitals, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. The injury appeared to be related to Grossmann's right shoulder. Grossmann had been holding down a top-pairing spot next to Mark Streit, but those duties are now likely to go to Andrew MacDonald for the next several games. With eight points in 41 games, Grossmann wasn't really on the radar in most fantasy formats, but his physicality will be missed on the Flyers' blue line.

Grossmann left during the first period of Thursday's game with an upper-body injury and will not return. Grossmann will finish the game with just 5:46 of ice time, leaving the Flyers with just five defensemen for the remainder of the game. He appeared to have injured his shoulder and possibly suffered a concussion, but the team should provide an update prior to Saturday's game against the Bruins.

Grossman hasn't tallied a point in six games, but remains on pace for his best NHL season. He's on pace to best his personal records in plus/minus and points. That said, he's minus-4 in his last three games, and the Flyers' defense has played woefully. If he's on your roster, monitor him accordingly.

Grossman potted a goal in Saturday's 5-2 loss against the Rangers. Grossman ended the Flyers' 133-minute goalless drought against the Rangers in the first period. It's his second goal of the season, and just his fifth point. The defenseman only has value in the deepest of leagues.

Grossmann finished with a goal and a team-high six blocked shots and five hits in Saturday's win over the Red Wings. The point was Grossman's first of the season in eight games, but the Flyers will primarily depend on him to help support their goaltending, a role he filled admirably Saturday. With both Andrew MacDonald and Braydon Coburn out for the next four weeks with lower-body injuries, Grossmann's defensive responsibilities on a weak Flyers blue line will become more important than ever.

Grossmann (illness) is expected to play Tuesday against the Ducks, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports. Grossmann missed Monday's practice with a stomach virus, but all indications are that he'll be healthy enough to play Tuesday. He's set to pair up with Mark Streit.

Grossmann will not practice Monday due to a stomach virus, the Flyers' official site reports. The Flyers are back in action Tuesday night, which likely makes Grossmann questionable for that tilt depending on how much he recovers over the next 24 hours.
