The Penguins have re-signed Nicholas Drazenovic to a two-year deal. He had some success in limited action in the AHL last season registering 27 points in 26 games, but will be hard pressed to play a fantasy-draft worthy role in Pittsburgh in 2014-15.

The Columbus Blue Jackets sent Nicholas Drazenovic to the minors after Sunday's game. Drazenovic started the game on the fourth unit but ended the game playing alongside Ryan Johansen and R.J. Umberger. He had no points and was minus-one in 9:42 minutes of action. The Blue Jackets do not play again until Thursday so perhaps they expect either Jared Boll or Nick Foligno back in the fold.
