Marty Turco gets the start tonight against the visiting Penguins. Tim Thomas was in goal for the Bruins' Northeast Division-clinching win Sunday against the Rangers. Turco will start tonight and Thomas will gett the night off altogether; he will not even dress. Turco has won his last two starts, including Saturday on Long Island. He is 2-1-0 with a 3.28 GAA since Boston signed him in early March.

Marty Turco saved 19 of 22 shots in a 6-3 victory Saturday afternoon. If this turns out to be the final start of Turco's NHL career, then at least he'll go out as a winner. Still, Turco's stint with the Bruins hasn't exactly been picture perfect. He has a 3.28 GAA and .867 save percentage in four contests this season.

Marty Turco will play between the pipes on Saturday. Tim Thomas will get a day off, but he'll probably start on Sunday. Turco has a 3.39 GAA and .869 save percentage in three games this season.

Marty Turco, last seen in the Boston net for last Sunday's 3-2 win over the Ducks, could be back between the pipes against the Islanders this afternoon. Bruins coach Claude Julien hinted he might give first-string goalie Tim Thomas a break in one of the two weekend games. Turco has not been told whether he can remain with the Bruins during the playoffs as a practice goalie. He is not eligible to play in the postseason.

Marty Turco stopped 25 of 27 shots in a 3-2 win over Anaheim Sunday night. The win is Turco's first as a Bruin after a couple of difficult outings. Given how little he's likely to play, we can't recommend picking up the veteran in your league.

Marty Turco might not start in either of Boston's games on Saturday and Sunday. Tim Thomas already played between the pipes on Thursday, but he might end up making three starts in just four days. "We didn't bring him here to put him on the bench," said Bruins coach Claude Julien. "At the same time, I have to look at where we are." Boston is still fighting to stay atop of the Northeast Division. If the Bruins are able to secure the division title with time to spare, then Turco is more likely to get a start or two.

Look for Marty Turco to make his second start in a Boston uniform at some point this week. The Bruins play three road games in four nights, starting with Thursday's contest at San Jose. Number one goalie Tim Thomas has begun to turn it around in his past two appearances, after struggling through the majority of the month, but he could also use some time off.

Marty Turco isn't making excuses for his rough start on Tuesday. It was Turco's first start in roughly a year, but he ended up surrendering four goals on 12 shots before being yanked. Turco said that he ended up making simple and avoidable mistakes. "It wasn't anything major really, just keep your stick and freeze the puck, and life would be a lot different," said Turco. "That probably made it that much more disheartening when I laid my head down (Tuesday night). Getting up (yesterday), I know that I can correct those things in the blink of an eye. I want to make darned sure they never happen again, for however long I get to play in this league." There's not much time left in the regular season, but Turco might get another chance.

Marty Turco allowed four goals on 12 shots in a 6-1 loss to the Lightning Tuesday night. Turco allowed three goals in the game's first five minutes and was promptly lifted in favor of Tim Thomas, but after he gave up a pair of goals of his own, Turco re-entered the game and allowed another Tampa marker. It seems likely that Turco will be used sparingly will Tuukka Rask is sidelined.
