Kurtis Foster has signed with Medvescak Zagreb of the KHL. Foster had five points and 25 penalty minutes in 23 games with the Philadelphia Flyers last season. He also has 42 goals and 160 points in 405 career NHL contests.

Philadelphia Flyers place Kurtis Foster on waivers. The move could be a sign that Nicklas Grossman is ready to return from an upper-body injury. Foster has served as an extra defenseman this season for Philly and doesn't really have fantasy value.

Kurtis Foster may draw into Philadelphia's lineup Thursday night, as long as he's over the flu bug. Nicklas Grossmann is being listed as day-to-day with an apparent hip injury, so Foster could replace him against Pittsburgh. He has five points and a plus-1 rating in 12 games this season.

Kurtis Foster was a healthy sratch for Saturday's contest at he Bell Centre against the Montreal Canadiens. Erik Gustafsson, who made his season debut Saturday night, replaced Foster in the lineup.

Kurtis Foster returned to action on Saturday January 26.

Kurtis Foster is banged up and will be replaced by Bruno Gervais in Tuesday's game against the New Jersey Devils. Foster played in both games to start the season and could have played Tuesday, but the Flyers wanted to give Gervais a chance to show his wares. Foster has one assist an a +1 rating in two games this season and might have value in deeper leagues if he can stay in the lineup and get time on the power play.

As we reported last night, Kurtis Foster is now a Philadelphia Flyer. Foster wasn't offered a contract by the Wild prior to the lockout, so he was an unrestricted free agent. Before suiting up in the the SM-liiga during the lockout, Foster played for Anaheim, Minnesota and New Jersey last season. Foster should get some time on the power play evetually and could have a little bit of fantasy value.

Kurtis Foster is expected to sign with the Flyers, according to CSN's Tim Panaccio. As soon as all the CBA paperwork is complete, the 31-year-old will be able to sign his contract. He played in 51 games last year split with the Ducks, Devils and Wild, recording 14 points. During the lockout he played in SM-liiga, putting up six points in 13 games.

Kurtis Foster reportedly suffered a fracture in his collarbone on Tuesday in SM-liiga action. He sustained the ailment in the first period of Tappara's 3-2 win versus IFK Helsinki. A timetable for his return is unclear, but he doesn't have ties to any NHL team right now to warrant concern from a fantasy perspective.
