Harrison was traded to the Blackhawks on Thursday and will be sent to AHL Rockford, Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran defenseman has spent this season with the Manitoba Moose of the AHL in the Jets' system, netting a minus-six rating over 18 games. He is included in a package headlined by Andrew Ladd heading back to the Blackhawks in exchange for Mark Dano, a first round draft pick, and a conditional pick. Harrison is set to join the Blackhawks' AHL affiliate once the trade is finalized.

Harrison will be a healthy scratch for Thursday's game against the Canadiens, 680 CJOB Sports reports. Dustin Byfuglien's return from an upper-body injury will bounce Harrison from the lineup for the first time since Feb. 21. With only nine points across 50 games this season and meager hit and PIM totals to boot, Harrison's absence from the lineup should go largely unnoticed in the fantasy realm.

Harrison registered an assist in Monday's 4-1 win over the Oilers. Harrison is a depth defenseman and not someone that you should rely on for puck magic. However, he does have 63 penalty minutes this season, making him an acceptable option if your league heavily rewards time spent in the Sin Bin.

Harrison (upper body) will return to the lineup Tuesday against the Stars, Paul Friesen of the Winnipeg Sun reports. Harrison will play his first game since Jan. 27, though he's seemingly been at full health for two weeks now. The Jets had been carrying nine healthy defensemen of late, but with Ben Chiarot (upper body) set to miss the next six weeks and Dustin Byfuglien moving back to forward, an opening for Harrison to suit up now exists. He'll join Adam Pardy on the Jets' third defensive pairing.

Harrison (upper body) will not play in Tuesday's game against the Wild, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.Harrison will miss his fifth consecutive game due to injury, but it would appear he's closing in on a return to action. He was a full-contact player during Monday's practice, and skated as part of the Jets' extra pairing during Tuesday's morning session. Unfortunately, with the Jets having seven other healthy blueliners on their roster at the moment, it may be difficult for Harrison to crack the lineup even once he gets back to 100 percent health.

Harrison (upper body) was on the ice for practice Monday wearing a normal jersey, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports. Harrison has missed each of the last four contests due to the upper-body injury, but is now practicing without a non-contact jersey. It seems quite plausible that he will return to the lineup Tuesday, but the team should provide an official update on his status at some point Tuesday.

Harrison (upper body) was scratched from Sunday's game against the Avalanche. Harrison should be considered day-to-day moving forward as he continues to deal with an upper-body injury. His next opportunity to get back on the ice will be against the Wild on Tuesday.

Harrison (upper body) skated in a non-contact jersey Thursday, Brian Munz of TSN 1290 Winnipeg reports. Harrison seems to be making strides in his recovery from the injury, but since he's still unable to take contact, it looks like he won't be a candidate to play Friday against the Blackhawks.

Harrison (upper body) will miss Tuesday's game against the Canucks, Elliott Pap of the Vancouver Sun reports. Harrison is being viewed as day-to-day for the moment, bu might have been phased out of the lineup even if fully healthy. The Jets acquired Harrison from the Hurricanes back in mid-December following a rash of injuries, but with all of Toby Enstrom, Zach Bogosian, Mark Stuart, and Jacob Trouba back from IR, Harrison doesn't have a clear path into the lineup.

Harrison will miss Monday's game against the Flames, and possibly longer, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports. The report indicates that Harrison is considered day-to-day at this point, but that the injury could hold him out longer. With that news, it seems likely he will miss Tuesday's contest as well, but he hasn't officially been ruled out at this point. Harrison's situation seems to be a bit cloudy at this point, but his availability for Tuesday's game should be ruled upon at some point prior to the opening puck drop.
