Stoll registered his first goal of the season in Tuesday's 5-2 win over Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Of course it's the first time he's found the net with the Rangers as well. Surprisingly, the usually fourth line forward also logged 16-plus minutes, including two minutes with the special teams units. While we're not sure this trend will continue, three points in 12 games is enough to suggest Stoll should remain in your free agent pool.

Stoll was observed alternating with Emerson Etem at Wednesday's practice reports Andrew Gross of The Record.
EDGE Analysis
With head coach Alain Vigneault trying to find the most productive combination for his fourth line, the veteran forward is smack dab in the middle of a game of musical chairs. Etem and Tanner Glass were originally tabbed as the healthy scratches out of camp, while Jesper Fast has sat out the last two games, including Tuesday's loss to Winnipeg. With just one assist in four games played, it appears Stoll could be the next to watch from the press box as music continues. The team is off as they travel to Montreal for Thursday's contest.

Free agent center Jarrett Stoll agreed to a one-year, $800,000 contract with the New York Rangers on Monday, according to the team's official website. Stoll, who was arrested on drug charges earlier this offseason, totaled just 17 points in 73 games with the Los Angeles Kings last season and will likely assume a bottom-six role with the Rangers.

Stoll's felony drug possession charge was dismissed and reduced to two misdemeanors on Thursday, ESPN's Katie Strang reports. Getting the felony charge reduced to two misdemeanors is obviously a huge win for Stoll and his legal team, but it isn't clear what affect, if any, the legal victory will have on the 33-year-old veteran's attractiveness in the free agent market. The Kings reportedly have no intention of resigning Stoll, so he will likely become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.

Stoll has been charged with one count of felony drug possession of a controlled substance, Sportsnet.ca reports. Stoll has been accused of possessing 3.3 grams of cocaine and several capsules of Ecstasy in the back pocket of his shorts while at a Las Vegas Strip resort swimming pool in April. Not only is Stoll in hot water on the legal side, but he's also due to be an unrestricted free agent come July 1, so this could start making a mess of those plans.

Stoll was released from the Clark County (Nevada) Detention Center over the weekend on $5,000 bond, the Associated Press reports. Stoll was arrested Friday after being suspected of possessing cocaine and ecstasy at a Las Vetgas resort. He's expected to face a court date on the matter over the next few weeks, which could result in a cool market for the center when he becomes an unrestricted free agent July 1. He posted a career-worst 17 points in 73 games with the Kings this season.

Stoll has been arrested in Las Vegas for possession of cocaine and MDMA (ecstacy) possession, according to Vanessa Murphy of 8News. The news broke at 11:30 p.m. Eastern, so there has been no response yet by the team or the NHL. More when it becomes available.

Stoll (upper body) will return to the lineup Thursday against the Oilers, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports. Stoll has practiced just once with the Kings since suffering the injury in mid-March, but coach Darryl Sutter was satisfied enough with the center's performance during Wednesday's session to sign off on his return. After a nine-game absence, Stoll will slot back in on the Kings' third line.

Stoll (upper body) skated on the third line during Wednesday's practice, Elliott Teaford of the Los Angeles Daily News reports. Stoll suggested that he could probably use a few more practices to get back up to full speed, but with the Kings requiring all hands on deck to chase down a playoff spot, he could be cleared to play as soon as Thursday's game against the Oilers. More information on Stoll's condition should be revealed after the Kings hold their morning skate Thursday.

Stoll (upper body) resumed skating Tuesday, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports. Stoll has been on the ice for two consecutive days, but it's not clear when he'll be able to join the rest of team for practices. The center has missed six consecutive games with the injury.
