Jan Mursak has signed with HDD Telemach Olimpija Ljubljana of the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga to play in Slovenia. The Slovenian winger appeared in 25 games with the Red Wings last season, where he recorded three points and averaged 7:33 of ice time per contest.

Jan Mursak was in Detroit's lineup on Tuesday. It was just Mursak's second game of the season with Detroit. Mursak missed most of the first half of the 2011-12 campaign with a fractured ankle. He had an assist in 8:03 minutes of playing time Tuesday.
