Harri Pesonen has signed a two-year contract to play for Lausanne of Switzerland's National League A. He skated in four games with New Jersey in 2013-14, but he spent most of the year in the minors with Albany where he notched 15 goals and 36 points in 75 matches.

Although Harri Pesonen was cut from the Devils' roster, coach Pete DeBoer sees him as a call up candidate. "He had a good camp," DeBoer said. "Unfortunately, he got hurt there and it kind of ended his audition." Pesonen battled a groin injury during the preseason. He had 14 goals and 17 assists in 64 AHL games last season.

He has no fantasy value.
