Based on the initial rushes at Wednesday's morning skate, Stafford is a candidate to skate on a line with with David Krejci and David Pastrnak in the Bruins' evening tilt against the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
We'll have to see if the trio sticks come game-time, but in such a scenario, in his third game as a Bruin, Stafford's short-term fantasy upside could see a spike, given the skills of his potential new linemates.

Stafford made his Boston debut Saturday, firing seven shots and picking up an assist in a 3-2 win over New Jersey.
EDGE Analysis
Stafford skated with Frank Vatrano and Ryan Spooner. His fantasy upside is limited, but his on-ice value is strong.

Stafford will make his Bruins debut Saturday, CSNNE.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Traded from the Jets for a conditional sixth-rounder Wednesday, Stafford reportedly will replace Jimmy Hayes in the lineup, working on the third line opposite Frank Vatrano and centered by Ryan Spooner. Contributing on the power play shouldn't be a problem for Stafford, as he'd been consistently used in that situation as both a member of the Sabres and Jets over prior campaigns. Thirteen points in 40 games summed up Stafford's total with the Canadian club this year, but he could see a spike in fantasy value playing alongside more talented linemates.

Coach Bruce Cassidy relayed that Stafford won't play Thursday against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Per the report, the Bruins' lone trade deadline acquisition is slated to practice with the team Friday and is thus a candidate to join the lineup as soon as Saturday's tilt against New Jersey. While the 31-year-old forward logged just four goals and 13 points with the Jets in 40 games prior to Wednesday's deal, he notched 21 goals last season and could benefit from the change of scenery. From the Bruins' perspective, Stafford -- who only cost the team a conditional sixth-round pick -- is a low-risk investment that could pay dividends, with the team looking to shore up its depth/scoring punch at the right wing position.

Stafford was dealt by the Jets to the Bruins on Wednesday for a conditional sixth-round pick, ESPN's Pierre LeBrun reports.
EDGE Analysis
A fourth-liner with some power-play time in Winnipeg, Stafford will probably become a fourth-liner with less power-play time in Boston, if he slots into the lineup at all in the near term. He's probably an upgrade over the likes of Riley Nash and/or Tim Schaller on that fourth trio, but it remains to be seen how the Bruins will deploy him.

Stafford (illness) will return to the lineup for Tuesday night's game against the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
Stafford has returned to health and will return to action after a three-game absence. With NHL's trade deadline looming, Tuesday will represent Stafford's last opportunity to audition for another team that may be looking to add his skill set for at least the rest of the season. He'll do so on Winnipeg's fourth line Chris Thorburn and Nicolas Petan.

Stafford (illness) is drawing trade interest ahead of next Wednesday's deadline, Craig Custance of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old would be a rental player for any team wishing to secure his services, since he'll be an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season. However, he's cashing in what's left on a two-year $8.7 million deal, and that seems to be quite excessive for a winger who only has 12 points in 39 games with his value largely sapped by rookie phenom Patrik Laine. Meanwhile, Stafford is dealing with an illness that has kept him out for the past three games.

Stafford (illness) will sit out Sunday's game agains the Senators.
EDGE Analysis
Stafford's disappearance from the lineup for a second straight contest shouldn't be of much concern in most fantasy leagues given his 12 points (four goals, eight assists) through 39 contests this season. The veteran has a much-improved rating this season, but doesn't produce at a high enough rate nor see enough ice time (13:16 average) to warrant ownership in all but the deepest of leagues. Given the illness designation, it seems unlikely he will miss much more time.

Stafford (illness) will not play Saturday against the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old isn't likely to have the 38-point season he had last year, but he has been making steady appearances on the power play. Last year, Stafford fired 187 shots on goal in 78 games. This year, he only has 66 shots in 39 games -- the likely culprit of the fact he only has four goals so far. His fantasy value would be best placed in deeper leagues and far from daily fantasy leagues. There is no indication to when he will be back, so check back for updates.

Stafford (lower leg) will suit up for Tuesday's matchup with the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
Stafford returns after a six-game absence due to this leg ailment. The winger was finally starting to heat up prior to getting hurt with six points in eight games, including a pair of power-play goals. Although he has never quite lived up to expectations after coming over from Buffalo, the 31-year-old has provided solid bottom-six scoring for the Jets and should offer decent mid-range fantasy value.
