Terry secured a contract with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod (KHL) on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Terry spent the last two seasons playing for AHL Grand Rapids in which he garnered 50 goals and 62 helpers in 126 appearances. The 31-year-old winger's last appearance in an NHL game back in 2016-17 when with Montreal. The move away from North America will likely close the door on Terry's NHL career, which would see him eventually retire having scored 22 goals and 16 assists in 152 games.

Terry was waived by the Red Wings on Tuesday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Terry requires waivers in order to be sent to AHL Grand Rapids. He's merely a depth option for the Wings who hasn't played in the NHL since the 2016-17 campaign with Montreal.

Terry secured a two-year contract with the Red Wings on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Terry has compiled 38 points (22 goals, 16 assists) over 152 career contests between the Hurricanes and Habs. The Red Wings are flush with scoring wingers, so it wouldn't be surprising to see Terry kept at the AHL level for the majority of the 2018-19 campaign. He checks out as a solid depth option, though.

Terry cleared waivers Friday and will report to Laval of the American Hockey League, Stu Cowan of Hockey Inside Out reports.
EDGE Analysis
Terry, 28, is your typical fringe NHLer that bounces back and forth between the AHL and NHL over the course of the season. He led the St. John's IceCaps with 30 goals and 68 points over 58 games in 2016-17.

The Canadiens placed Terry on waivers Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Terry posted an impressive stat line in the minors last season, racking up 68 points (30 goals, 38 assists) in 58 games with AHL St. John's, but he wasn't able to translate that production into success with the big club, as he finished the campaign with a mere four points in 14 games with the Canadiens. The 28-year-old forward will almost certainly spend some time in the NHL this season, but he'll likely once again stick with Montreal's AHL affiliate for most of the year.

Terry (abdomen) was a full participant during Sunday's practice, J-F Chaumont of the Journal de Montreal reports.
EDGE Analysis
The former Carolina Hurricane had missed close to a week with what the team called a "torso" injury but he now appears to be at least close to 100%. Despite a huge year in the AHL in 2016-17 -- when he scored 68 points in 58 games -- Terry faces an uphill battle to make the Habs' roster, as evidenced by the fact that he is skating on the "sixth line" during camp.

Terry was absent from Monday's training camp session due to a torso injury.
EDGE Analysis
Even prior to getting hurt, Terry was a long shot to make the Opening Night roster. With this ailment limiting his participation, the winger is a near lock to return to AHL St. John's once training camp wraps up.

Terry signed a one-year extension with Montreal on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The winger only has four points in 14 NHL games this year, but he's been a valuable member of the AHL St. John's squad, notching 50 points in 38 games. His fantasy value is limited given he spends most of his time in the minors, but when he does get called up, he's not worth a roster spot either.

Terry was sent back to AHL St. John's on Sunday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Terry was placed on waivers Saturday, so the move should come as no surprise after going unclaimed. The longtime borderline winger posted just four points in 14 games with the Canadiens and averaged just 9:53 of ice time over his short span with the club. It's unlikely he will ever make a large enough impact to be ownable in the vast majority of fantasy league, but he could make his way back to the top level should injuries dictate a recall.

Terry was waived by the Canadiens on Saturday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Terry kept going through lengthy stretches of watching games from the press box, so it's not all that surprising to see the Habs giving him the ax. The last straw was how he skated to a minus-3 rating in an embarrassing 7-1 loss at the expense of starting goalie Carey Price, who's not accustomed to such a poor showing. Still, he could end up with AHL St. John's if he clears waivers.
