Conner was recalled by the Flyers along with seven others following the conclusion of the AHL Lehigh Valley season.
EDGE Analysis
Conner was the leading scorer on the Phantoms with 55 points in 58 contests. In order to ensure they have the necessary depth for a playoff run, Philadelphia also promoted blueliners Mark Alt, Davis Drewiske, Robert Hagg, and Samuel Morin along with forwards Cole Bardeau and Taylor Leier. Rounding out their Black Aces call-ups was netminder Anthony Stolarz. Barring injuries, none of these prospects is expected to crack the lineup during the postseason.

Conner was sent back down to AHL Lehigh Valley, Wayne Fish of the Burlington City Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Conner had four goals and eight points for AHL Lehigh Valley in eight games and was called up for the Flyers during a back-to-back. However, he was a healthy scratch for both games. He'll return back to the AHL where he's the team's second-leading scorer. He's replaced by Davis Drewiske on the NHL roster.

Conner was recalled by the Flyers on Sunday, CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Conner will give the Flyers some forward depth for the rest of their five-game road trip with Pierre-Edouard Bellemare on injured reserve and Sean Couturier still out with a concussion. The veteran winger has gotten off to a hot start with AHL Lehigh Valley, posting eight points in eight games, but will likely just fill in a role on the fourth line if he draws into the lineup, limiting any fantasy upside.

Conner signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Flyers on Wednesday, Tim Riday of CSN Philadephia reports. Conner made two appearances with the Capitals last season, but he was signed for the purpose stockpiling some forward depth at AHL Lehigh Valley. The 31-year-old Conner is unlikely to see time with the Flyers barring an assortment of injuries at forward.

The Capitals announced on Tuesday that they have sent Conner back to AHL Hershey. Conner was recalled on an emergency basis with injuries keeping centers Jay Beagle and Michael Latta out of the lineup, but with the latter nearing a return, he was returned to AHL Hershey. The 31-year-old had no points in 17:38 of ice time in two games during his stint in DC, but Hershey will be happy to have him back as he has 17 goals and 45 points in 47 games with the Bears this season.

Chris Conner practiced Wednesday for the first time since he suffered a wrist injury back on Dec. 31. "I don't have a time frame," Conner said. "It was just the next step. We'll see how that is for a few days. It's just a matter of getting your timing and making sure everything is working like it's supposed to." When he's healthy he may not have a spot on the roster with Pittsburgh.
