Ben Maxwell was claimed off waivers by WPG on Friday January 18.

Ben Maxwell has been waived by the Winnipeg Jets. Maxwell has two goals and 13 points in 37 AHL games this season. He's not expected to have any fantasy value in 2013.

The Winnipeg Jets have signed Ben Maxwell. The club declined to disclose the terms of the agreement. He had 23 points and 35 penalty minutes in 43 AHL games last season. He also had six points in 15 NHL contests.

The Jets recalled Ben Maxwell from St. John's of the AHL. Maxwell has played 10 games (one assist) in the NHL this, four with the Jets after he was acquired from Anaheim. With St. John's, he is 8-14-22 in 36 games.

Ben Maxwell has obtained a work visa, which will allow him to start playing for the Anaheim Ducks. Maxwell is expected to practice with the team on Wednesday, but he's not likely to play in their contest Wednesday night. Anaheim claimed Maxwell off of waivers on Thursday.
