According to multiple sources, including the team's website, Andreas Engqvist has signed with Atlant Mytishi of the KHL. He was slated to be a restricted free agent on July 1. Engqvist has spent the majority of the past two seasons in the AHL with Hamilton and he has played in 15 games with the Canadiens over that span. He didn't have any points at the NHL level despite some scoring success in the minors.

Montreal has demoted Andreas Engqvist to AHL Hamilton. He has no points in 12 games with the Canadiens this season and shouldn't be on anyone's fantasy radar.

Andreas Engqvist was summoned from the minors on Monday. He dressed for the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday prior to being recalled Saturday for Montreal's match-up versus Toronto. Engqvist suited up for another minor-league contest on Sunday and then joined the Canadiens in Calgary Monday night. Despite his busy schedule, it is likely he will play in Tuesday's game against the Flames.

Andreas Engqvist has been called up by the Montreal Canadiens. Engqvist has 18 goals and 34 points in 43 AHL games this season, however, the big Swedish forward is still looking for his first point in the NHL. He has no fantasy value.
