He's struggled to find his way in the NHL, but he is capable of making an offensive impact under the right circumstances.

Barre-Boulet has found the back of the net in two straight games. He pushed the score to 2-0 late in the second period when he played give-and-go with Darren Raddysh. A nice tip and the puck was behind Pyotr Kochetkov. The 26-year-old winger saw only 11:11 of ice time Tuesday, but part of that was on the top line. Barre-Boulet must be in a top-six situation to optimize his skills, so shrinking ice time is a concern.
