Colon (knee) is inactive Sunday against the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
Chris Ivory has been held to 41 or fewer yards in each of his last two games, and Colon's absence at right guard isn't good news for the running back. That said, Ivory still has a solid matchup against the Jaguars.

Colon re-signed with the Jets on a one-year veteran minimum with a signing bonus Friday, the New York Daily News reports. Colon will once again don green and white on Sunday's in 2015. The 31-year-old guard struggled a bit in 2014, leading all guards in penalties, but figures to slot back in at one of the two guard spots next season.

Colon tore his biceps in the season finale before undergoing a knee scope during the spring. He's not expected to miss much time during camp, but the injuries have been racking up for Colon during his career. He'll be ready come Week 1.

Jets RG Willie Colon (knee, biceps) is expected to be ready for training camp. Colon will be shut down 4-6 weeks recovering from his knee scope, but is hoping to be available for the start of camp. With four surgeries over the last four years, his durability is a concern. The Jets lack depth at guard behind Colon, with Brian Winters, William Campbell, and Dakota Dozier all getting extended looks during OTAs. Barring a setback, Colon will be ready for Week 1.

Jets RG Willie Colon will have his knee scoped. Colon is already on the shelf rehabbing a torn biceps, so he may as well get the knee cleaned up. The 31-year-old is questionable for the start of camp and could be in a race to be ready Week 1 due to the biceps injury. Youngsters Brian Winters, William Campbell, and Dakota Dozier will see extra reps.

Jets re-signed RG Willie Colon to a one-year, $2 million contract. Colon started all 16 games at right guard last season, grading out as a top-four pass-blocking guard at Pro Football Focus. However, he did struggle as a run blocker, took 12 penalties, and tore his biceps in Week 17. The soon-to-be 31-year-old will bring some much-needed continuity. He'll be ready for Week 1.
