Miller and the Bills agreed to a reworked contract for the 2024 season Wednesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Miller's 2024 base salary will fall from $17.1 million to $8.86 million while his possible incentives will increase from $17.5 million to $20 million this coming season. The move also saves Buffalo about $8.65 million in 2024 salary cap space, as the veteran pass rusher's new deal includes a $7 million signing bonus, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com. Miller compiled the least productive campaign of his career by far with just three tackles and no sacks over 12 games during the 2023 regular season. He'll enter his age-35 season in 2024.

Miller was a full participant in practice Thursday after taking a veteran's rest day Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The seven-time All-Pro appears available to play Sunday against the Dolphins after being a healthy scratch in Week 17. Miller has just three tackles on 225 defensive snaps in 11 games this season.

Miller (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
Miller's inclusion on the inactive list comes as a bit of a surprise, although the veteran hasn't been productive on the stat sheet thus far. The 34-year-old has just three combined tackles and no sacks in 11 games and 225 defensive snaps played this season.

Bills general manager Brandon Beane said Wednesday that he doesn't expect Miller to be placed on the commissioner's exempt list following a recent felony domestic violence charge, Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Miller is thus expected to be available for Sunday's game against Kansas City, likely handling his usual role playing about 20 snaps as a rotational edge rusher. He might still be placed on the exempt list at some point, while a formal suspension probably wouldn't occur until well after the season.

The Dallas Police Department confirmed Thursday that an arrest warrant has been issued for Miller for allegedly assaulting a pregnant woman, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
According to the report, Dallas Police responded to a "major disturbance call," with a preliminary investigation showing that Miller and a woman got into a verbal argument and that he allegedly assaulted her. Miller left the scene before officers arrived, and the woman in question was not transported to a hospital but was treated for minor injuries. The Bills subsequently released a statement on the matter Thursday, noting that the organization is aware of the incident involving Miller and is in the process of gathering more information. Buffalo is on bye Week 13 before returning to action Sunday, Dec. 10 in Kansas City.

Miller played just six defensive snaps and didn't record a tackle in Sunday's 29-25 loss to the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
The coaches keep saying he's on a "pitch count" and are just managing his reps, but when a star player is getting just six snaps in a tightly contested game, that should tell you Miller is still far away from where he was pre-knee injury, when he had 8.0 sacks in 11 games last season. We should see his involvement pick up as the season wears on, but Buffalo runs a nasty defensive that relies on heavy rotation, and even a healthier Miller -- at age 34 and coming off a major injury -- isn't as likely to record a sack as players like Greg Rousseau, Leonard Floyd, Ed Oliver and A.J. Epenesa.

Miller (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Jaguars in London.
EDGE Analysis
The star edge rusher is making his 2023 debut after completing his recovery from the torn ACL that he suffered in late November. Upon being cleared to practice this week, Miller was a limited participant in sessions Wednesday through Friday, but his activity was enough for the Bills to give him the green light to play. Though fellow defensive ends Greg Rousseau (foot) and Shaq Lawson (toe) are sidelined Sunday, Miller is still expected to be eased back in with a limited snap count Week 5, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Miller (knee) is expected to suit up for Sunday's matchup against the Jaguars but operate on a snap count, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Miller, who came off the reserve/PUP list Saturday and is officially listed as questionable for Week 5, is expected to make his season debut in London on Sunday. His status will be made official roughly 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 9:30 a.m. ET kickoff. Even if the 34-year-old is only able to suit up for third downs and obvious pass-rushing situations, as Rapoport reports, Miller could be an impact player for Buffalo.

Miller (knee) was activated off the reserve/PUP list Saturday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
The Bills haven't officially cleared Miller's injury status, but it would be surprising to see the team activate the veteran and yet not have him play. With Shaq Lawson (toe) a late addition to the injury report, Miller could wind up seeing a few more pass-rush snaps than initially expected. The 34-year-old has not played since tearing his ACL in Week 12 of last season.

Miller (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars in London.
EDGE Analysis
Miller remains on the reserve/PUP list, but he traveled with the team to London and logged a trio of limited practices this week. In order to play Sunday, Miller will first have to be activated from the PUP list, but Buffalo's 21-day window to place Miller back on the active roster was opened Wednesday. If Miller suits up, it will be his first appearance since the 34-year-old pass rusher tore his ACL in Week 12 of last season. Per Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News, Miller said he's "94.5 percent" sure that he'll play Sunday.
