Green caught his only target for 14 yards in the 45-10 win Sunday over the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
A three-score lead by the start of the second half allowed for the Chargers to feature their running game prominently, creating a couple of extra snaps for the run-blocking Green. The veteran tight end simply hasn't been a priority through the air, as Green is currently on pace to barely pass his 2014 numbers in which he caught just six passes and tallied 74 receiving yards despite playing close to 400 snaps with the Broncos.

Green successfully caught his lone target for 10 yards in Sunday's 17-16 win over the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
Merely just a blocking asset even when Hunter Henry (knee) was out, the return of the third-year tight end has completely relegated Green to the wayside, as the veteran has seen just four targets combined in the past three games. It's hard to expect things to get much better, particularly since Green has never recorded more than 237 receiving yards in a given season.

Green caught his only target for nine yards in the 23-20 loss to the Titans Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Hunter Henry's return from a multigame absence has essentially relegated Green to a depth option, as the veteran saw a season low in snaps (12) in a game that was relatively close throughout. With just five catches and 42 yards through six games, Green is hard to recommend as a legitimate fantasy asset in any sort of capacity.

Green caught one of his two targets for 15 yards in the 24-17 loss Sunday to the Steelers.
EDGE Analysis
The return of Hunter Henry (knee) essentially relegated Green to a reserve blocker, as the veteran tight end played just 37 percent of his team's snaps compared to 77 percent the week before. Even as the No. 1 option at tight end, Green was hardly a fantasy focal point, and with Henry back, he should not be relied upon in any capacity.

Green (groin) caught his only target for five yards in the 20-13 loss Sunday to the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Green was the only tight end to catch a pass Sunday, but this was hardly a revenge game for the long-time Broncos player. Considering the veteran has only ran routes on 70 percent of his snaps to date, it's clear the 31-year-old is little more than a blocking specialist in an offense that tends to only feature four players any given game.

Green (groin) is active for Sunday's game versus the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Green will return after a one-game absence, and he'll slot in as the starting tight end. His offensive upside -- three targets in three games -- has been disappointing despite Hunter Henry's (knee) absence, and Lance Kendricks, who was targeted three times Week 4, could cut into his chances.

Green (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Green has been able to practice in some capacity all week, including full participation Friday, so it seems as if the veteran's game-time status is trending in the right direction. The 31-year-old has seen just three targets across 113 offensive snaps through three games, but considering injuries to Hunter Henry (knee) and Sean Culkin (Achilles) leave the unproven Stephen Anderson and veteran castoff Lance Kendricks behind Green on the depth chart, it's possible he could see a bit more action in the passing game if active Sunday.

Green (groin) returned to practice Wednesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
It wasn't revealed what capacity Green participated in, but practicing in any fashion gives him a decent shot to play Sunday versus the Broncos. If he suits up, Green should play plenty of snaps since the Chargers just sent Sean Culkin to injured reserve with a torn Achilles. However, his fantasy value isn't appealing with just two catches for 13 yards through three games.

Green (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's game in Miami.
EDGE Analysis
With Green joining Hunter Henry (knee) on the inactive list, Sean Culkin and Lance Kendricks are the Chargers' healthy choices at tight end. The team also has a bunch of wideout injuries, with Mike Williams (knee) ruled out and Travis Benjmain (hip) listed as doubtful.

Green (groin) is not practicing Friday, Eric D. Williams of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Green has been a non-participant in practice all week. He appears to be trending toward missing Sunday's contest against the Dolphins, in which case Sean Culkin and Lance Kendricks would serve as the Chargers' top tight ends.
