Branch (knee) remains unsigned, ESPN.com's Josh Weinfuss reports.
EDGE Analysis
Branch piled up 69 tackles in nine games for the Cardinals last season before his injury issues re-surfaced in November in the form of a torn ACL. An above-average starter when healthy, the 31-year-old safety has played double-digit games just once in the past five seasons. Despite owning a career average of 5.8 tackles per game, he may have a tough time attracting interest on the open market, as there's no assurance he'll be ready by Week 1.

Branch (knee) will be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason.
EDGE Analysis
Branch landed a two-year deal with the Cardinals in March of 2016, but his susceptibility to injury forced IR stays in both campaigns. In 2016, he dealt with a groin tear and had to accept a $2 million paycut in order to return to Arizona this past season. Prior to tearing his ACL in Week 10, Branch was among the Cards' leading tacklers with 69 stops. On the latter occasion, rookie safety Budda Baker emerged as a force in a stacked secondary, so it wouldn't surprise if general manager Steve Keim lets the 31-year-old Branch search for employment elsewhere in the offseason.

The Cardinals officially placed Branch (knee) on injured reserve Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Branch sustained a torn ACL in Thursday's loss to the Seahawks and is now officially done for the season. Rookie Budda Baker should see a bump in defensive snaps in his absence, as will veteran Antoine Bethea.

Branch suffered a torn ACL in Thursday's loss to the Seahawks, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Bruce Arians said earlier Friday morning that Branch could be headed to injured reserve, and that is all-but-confirmed now with the news of Branch tearing his ACL. Moving forward without Branch, veteran Antoine Bethea and rookie Budda Baker will likely see an increase in reps in the secondary.

Coach Bruce Arians said Friday that Branch (knee) could end up on injured reserve.
EDGE Analysis
Branch left Thursday's loss to the Seahawks in the first quarter after landing awkwardly on his knee in the end zone, and it appears as though he may have suffered some significant damage. While there has not yet been an official diagnosis on the safety's injury, it's likely that he'll be done for the rest of the year.

Branch (knee) is out for the remainder of Thursday's contest against the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
Branch sustained the knee injury in the first quarter, leaving veteran Antoine Bethea and rookie Budda Baker to see increased reps in the secondary for the remainder of the contest. Look for more updates on Branch's status to come next week when the Cardinals resume practice.

Branch is questionable to return to Thursday's game against the Seahawks due to an injured knee, Kyle Odegard of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Branch sustained the injury late in the first quarter. He is coming off a week where he led the Cardinals in tackles, so his presence will be missed if he is unable to return.

Branch racked up a team-high 10 solo tackles and a pass breakup Sunday against the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
This was Branch'es fourth double-digit tackle performance of the season, and with 69 tackles (54 solo) at the halfway mark, he's on pace to shatter his career high of 106 tackles. Branch has been fairly consistent, too, recording seven or more tackles in six of this season's eight games. The veteran safety should be considered a universal IDP threat.

Branch accrued six tackles (four solo) and a pass defended during Sunday's 38-33 victory versus the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
Branch has taken full advantage of a regular role this season, leading all Cardinals defenders in usage (98.5 percent of the defensive snaps) and sitting in a tie for first in the entire NFL with 55 tackles. On the latter point, he's the sole defensive back in the top 12, elevating him further in the IDP ranks. In order to keep hold of the lead, though, he'll have to revert to his output from the first five games, when he reached double-digit stops on three occasions.

Branch recorded 10 tackles (four solo) in Sunday's loss to the Eagles.
EDGE Analysis
Branch led the Cardinals in tackles Sunday and only in five games he's posted his highest tackle count (49) since 2012. Look for the veteran to continue to see a high-volume of defensive reps Sunday against the Buccaneers.
