Wade signed a contract with the Ravens on Monday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Wade will give the Ravens another healthy body in the defensive backfield after the team waived/injured cornerback Al-Hajj Shabazz in a corresponding move. The 28-year-old Wade, a 2012 seventh-round pick, appeared in 16 games with the Giants in 2016, logging 26 tackles and a touchdown.

Saints re-signed exclusive rights free agent CB Trevin Wade to a one-year, $570,000 contract.
A 2012 seventh-round pick by the Browns, Wade appeared in two games with New Orleans last season, managing one pass breakup. He did record a special teams tackle in the playoffs. The Saints will likely revamp their cornerback corps behind Keenan Lewis this offseason, leaving Wade on the roster bubble.

Wade will take the roster spot of CB Jabari Greer (knee), who is expected to be placed on injured reserve. A seventh-round pick of the Browns in 2012, Wade appeared in 13 games as a rookie, but couldn't make it past final cuts this season. He'll serve on special teams for the Saints.

Browns CB Trevin Wade's roster spot is in jeopardy.
The Browns drafted Leon McFadden to be their No. 2 corner, and Buster Skrine is the favorite to open the season as the nickel back, so Wade is no longer needed and a strong possibility to be released. ESPN Cleveland believes veteran Chris Owens would "have to be an absolute bust" not to stick on the 53-man roster.

Short on physical gifts, Wade ran 4.53 at February's Combine after measuring in at 5-foot-10, 192. Wade has short arms and lacks elite long speed, so he may have to emerge as a strong slot cornerback to carve out an NFL career.
