Crabtree agreed to a contract with the Saints on Tuesday. Crabtree has shuffled back and forth between the Saints' roster and the free agent list the last couple weeks, but he is back on the roster for now.

Crabtree was released by the Saints on Saturday, NFL.com reports. Running back Edwin Baker was promoted from the practice squad to take Crabtree's spot on the active roster. It marks the second time in the past eight days Crabtree has been released by New Orleans.

The Saints have re-signed Crabtree, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. Crabtree rejoins the Saints' depth TE mix in advance of Sunday's game against his former team, the Packers, but he's off the fantasy radar, with Jimmy Graham back in the New Orleans lineup.

Crabtree was released by the Saints on Saturday, NFL.com reports. This could be a sign that Jimmy Graham (shoulder) is headed for active status Sunday against the Lions, but it's possible the Saints just weren't going to activate Crabtree anyway. Regardless, Crabtree is once again without a job, and he likely won't draw much interest as a free agent after catching just four passes in seven games with Tampa Bay last season.
