Herremans agreed to a contract with the Colts, NFL.com reports. Herremans will likely start at right guard for the Colts and bolster an offensive line that struggled at times last season. He started seven games at right guard and one game at right tackle for the Eagles last season. He suffered a season-ending biceps injury in Week 8.

Herremans (biceps) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Herremans tore his biceps in the Eagles' Week 8 injury against the Cardinals, but attempted to play through the injury the very next week in the Texans. However, he appeared to be highly limited while dealing with the issue, and ended up exiting early due to an ankle concern. The Eagles decided it was in their best interest to let Herremans undergo surgery and take the rest of the season to recover. Evan Mathis was activated from the short-term injured reserve list Wednesday and will take Herremans' spot on the 53-man roster.

The Philadelphia Inquirer mentions Eagles RG Todd Herremans as a player who may be in danger of being cut this offseason. After starting eight games at right tackle in 2012, Herremans was shifted to guard in 2013 and started all 16 games. Per Pro Football Focus, he was atrocious as a pass blocker but excelled in the run game -- grading out as PFF's No. 2 guard in run blocking behind teammate LG Evan Mathis. Herremans is 31 and is due a $3 million salary in 2014, though the Eagles would save just $600K against the cap by releasing him. Herremans could be safe for one more season in Philly.

Todd Herremans has officially been moved to right guard. Rookie Lane Johnson will be the right tackle and Jason Peters is back from injury to man the left side. Herremans started more than 70 games at left guard for the Eagles between 2006 and 2011, so it shouldn't be a big transition. On paper, Philly is fielding one of the game's most talented offensive lines.

Eagles RT Todd Herremans (foot surgery) is "a few weeks away" from getting a clean bill of health from team doctors. Herremans, 30, suffered ligament damage, a strained tendon, and bone cracks on November 5. "I don't see myself missing any offseason activities," he said. "I imagine I'll be good to go in the next few weeks." Herremans graded out positively as both a run and pass blocker in 2012, per Pro Football Focus' ratings.

Eagles OL Todd Herremans recently underwent surgery to remove an infection in his foot. Herremans was placed on injured reserve at the beginning of November after dislocating a bone and tearing some ligaments in his foot. CSN Philly points out that Herremans still fits into the team's plan moving forward, but it remains to be seen if that's at tackle or guard. He should be ready for OTAs in April.

Eagles placed RT Todd Herremans on injured reserve with an ankle injury, ending his season. The hits keep coming for the Eagles, who enter the second half of the season with neither their preferred left tackle or right tackle. With LT Jason Peters (Achilles) unlikely to return, it means the Eagles are left with King Dunlap and free-agent bust Demetress Bell at tackle. Dunlap is expected to man Vick's right (blind) side, with Bell filling-in at left. In the first year of a five-year contract with only one season guaranteed, the onus to step up is on Bell in a big way. The missed games will be Herremans' first since 2009. After turning 30 last month, Herremans is signed through 2016.

CSN Philly reports there is a "very good chance" RT Todd Herreman's season is over after suffering a tendon injury in his foot-ankle area. "It's not good," one team official said. "It doesn't look good at all. We're still waiting for [more test results], but it looks bad." The Eagles are already without LT Jason Peters, C Jason Kelce, and RG Danny Watkins. Michael Vick was sacked a season-high seven times Monday night by a Saints defense that had just 13 sacks through the first seven games. Free agent bust Demetress Bell is expected to fill in for Herremans.

Eagles RT Todd Herremans sustained a strained tendon in his ankle during Monday night's loss to the Saints. It's another blow to the Eagles' anemic offensive line. Herremans' absence left incompetent Demetress Bell on Michael Vick's blindside and hideous pass protection ensued. The Eagles are already playing without their starting LT Jason Peters (Achilles), C Jason Kelce (knee) and RG Danny Watkins (ankle). Herremans is set for an MRI Tuesday to determine the severity of his injury.
