Todd Heap (hamstring) was upgraded to a limited practice on Thursday. Heap was limited in Thursday's practice last week and still did not play. He's not going to be a viable TE2 option if he does suit up against a forbidding 49ers defense this week.

Todd Heap (hamstring) missed Cardinals practice Wednesday. Heap was inactive for Week 10 and hasn't caught a pass since the first month of the season. He should've been dropped in fantasy leagues some time ago.

Cardinals TE Todd Heap (hamstring) is inactive for the Cardinals' Week 10 game against the Eagles. Rob Housler (groin) is also inactive, with Jeff King and Jim Dray handling duties in his place. Even against the Eagles' notably bad defense against tight ends, neither are fantasy options. WR Stephen Williams, S Kerry Rhodes, LB Joey Porter, and T D'Anthony Batiste round out the inactive list.

Cardinals TE Todd Heap (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 10. Rob Housler (thigh) is listed as doubtful. Heap has been out for so long that it would barely make sense to pick him in up a fantasy league until he does something, let alone start him. He's barely even on the deep league radar.

Todd Heap (hamstring) was limited again in Thursday's practice. Heap isn't going to be an acceptable TE2 play until he begins practicing fully. It certainly doesn't help that an accuracy-challenged John Skelton is due to start a second straight game.

Todd Heap (hamstring) was limited in Cardinals practice Wednesday. Coach Ken Whisenhunt is expecting Heap to contribute this week after being active but not playing in Week 9, but he's not off to a good start. If he's unable to turn in a full practice on Thursday, he shouldn't be considered more than 50-50 to suit up against the Eagles. He's off the fantasy radar until he proves he's healthy.

Coach Ken Whisenhunt is confident that TE Todd Heap is finally over the hump in his return from a multi-week hamstring injury. Whiz believes Heap is nearing 100 percent, and "there shouldn't be any issues going forward this week." Heap is off the radar as a low-end TE2 until he strings together a couple of solid performances.

Todd Heap (hamstring) was active for Sunday's game against the Rams, but did not play. Heap was inactive for the previous three games, so he's trending in the right direction. Backup Rob Housler caught one pass for three yards yesterday.

Cardinals TE Todd Heap (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 9 after another limited practice Friday. Rob Housler (groin) will be out for the game, so the Cardinals hope Heap will pass pre-game testing and be able to play against the Rams. He won't be a good fantasy option, though, against a St. Louis defense shutting down tight ends.

Todd Heap (hamstring) was limited in Cardinals practice for the second straight day Thursday. Unless Heap returns to full practice Friday, he's a good bet to miss his fourth straight game. Regardless of whether or not he plays against the Rams, Heap is off the fantasy radar.
