Colts released RB Tashard Choice. The Colts also waived DT Jake McDonough. Choice surprisingly appeared in three games last season, but took the rock just 11 times for 44 yards. The former Jerry Jones all star has averaged only 3.5 yards per carry since 2010. Heading into his age-30 season, Choice is near the end of the line. He's already lasted longer than most spare-part running backs.

Spiller (ankle) and Fred Jackson (knee) both hobbled during the game, Choice was the No. 3 back through the rotation. He's not on the re-drat fantasy radar for owners with designs on winning championships.

Tashard Choice rushed five times for 22 yards in Buffalo's Week 5 loss to the Browns. With Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller both playing through minor injuries, Choice doubled his season carry total. Jackson and Spiller both escaped the game without further injury, however, which should send Choice back to the pine for Week 6. He's off the fantasy radar.

ESPN's Adam Schefter stated on SportsCenter Monday to expect an "expanded role" for Tashard Choice on Thursday night against Cleveland. Fred Jackson has a mild MCL sprain, and C.J. Spiller may not play due to an ankle injury. Choice, a journeyman who turns 29 years old in November, has rushed five times for ten yards this season. He'd be an abominable flex play.
