This was easily Dawson's best fantasy performance to date, as the 49ers' offense had a rare outing where they were able to move the ball with ease. They won't get to face the Saints' defense every week, so this kind of output shouldn't be expected from Dawson on a weekly basis, especially going against a stout Arizona defense in Week 10.

Dawson won't be a top-10 scoring kicker playing behind an abysmal San Francisco offense. While he can't create field goal opportunities for himself, he has been hitting most of the ones that have been presented to him this season (88.9 FG%), making him a safe kicking option in leagues that penalize missed kicks. Standard leagues can probably find kickers with higher point potentials on a weekly basis.

Dawson was perfect Sunday, hitting from 33, 47 and 48 and converting his only PAT attempt in a 45-16 loss to Buffalo.

Despite the final score, this game was actually relatively close trough three quarters, so Dawson was able to get in a few field goals before things got out of hand. The 41-year-old is proving to be accurate yet again, hitting seven of his eight field goal attempts this season. The only concern with Dawson is whether or not the 49ers' offense will be able to put him in a position to produce big fantasy days. Sunday was the first time this season that he attempted more than two field goals.

While Dawson wasn't presented a field goal opportunity, a holding penalty forced him to have to make one of his three PAT attempts from 43 yards out, which was actually his longest kick of the season so far. The 49ers' offense has been inconsistent at best, so it is tough to recommend Dawson given how much the team struggles to move the ball.

The 49ers' coaching change has not resulted in a more prolific offensive attack. Until the offense can move the ball into their opponent's territory with more frequency, Dawson will remain a low-end kicking option.
