Floyd (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
Floyd did not practice this week, as he continues to deal with torn cartilage in his shoulder. With him unavailable for Sunday's divisional game against Kansas City, Stevie Johnson, Dontrelle Inman and Javontee Herndon will comprise an underwhelming San Diego receiving corp this weekend.

Floyd (shoulder) did not practice Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Floyd's status for Sunday's game against the Chiefs is cloudy and if he is forced to sit the contest out, then the Chargers' Week 11 wideout corps would be headed by Stevie Johnson and Dontrelle Inman, with Javontee Herndon also on hand.

Floyd -- who tore shoulder cartilage during Week 9's action -- did not practice Wednesday, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
While coach Mike McCoy remains optimistic that Floyd will play again this year, the wideout is not cleared to do so yet, making him iffy, at best, for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.

It is unclear if Floyd (shoulder) will play again this season, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Teammate Antonio Gates is already trying to convince Floyd to return for another season, which seemingly suggests that the wideout is unlikely to play again this year. However, head coach Mike McCoy said Floyd is merely day-to-day, with the team taking advantage of a Week 10 bye to evaluate the options. Given that Floyd has a torn labrum and the Chargers aren't in contention for the playoffs, it won't be surprising if the wideout and his team ultimately decide to shut things down for the year.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport indicates that Floyd, who tore his shoulder labrum in Week 9, plans to attempt to play through the injury.
EDGE Analysis
With that in mind, coach Mike McCoy relayed that the Chargers have time over their Week 10 bye to evaluate Floyd and plan to take things day-by-day with the 34-year-old wideout, who has indicated already that 2015 will be his last season as a player.

Floyd suffered a torn labrum Monday and it is unclear if he will be able to return this season, the San Diego Union-Tribune's Michael Gehlken reports.
EDGE Analysis
Floyd has already declared that 2015 will be his last season in the NFL, so this would be a pretty anticlimactic way for him to go out. Steve Johnson stands to get a boat load of targets with Keenan Allen also out for San Diego. Dontrelle Inman and Javontee Herndon are the only other receivers on the roster, so look for the Chargers to sign a free agent or promote someone from the practice squad in the coming days.

Head coach Mike McCoy said Tuesday that Floyd (shoulder) is considered day-to-day, Tom Krasovic of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
The shoulder injury Floyd suffered in Monday's game knocked him out of the contest and certainly looked serious, but his initial diagnosis is promising, and it sounds like he could avoid missing any further action. Floyd will have an extra week to rest and recover with the Chargers on bye in Week 10.

Floyd (shoulder) will not return to Monday's game against the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
The Chargers have yet to announce exactly what type of shoulder injury Floyd is dealing with, but he was on the sideline in street clothes when the second half of Monday's game began. The team figures to provide an update on Floyd's status in short order, but the Chargers could be looking at playing the rest of the way without their top two receivers.

Floyd is questionable to return to Monday's game against the Bears due to a shoulder injury.
EDGE Analysis
After losing Keenan Allen (kidney) on Sunday, Nov. 1, Floyd was among just a handful of healthy receiving options remaining in San Diego, but the veteran injured his shoulder on a diving attempt early in the second quarter Monday. Floyd was quickly shuttled to the locker room, where the Chargers will determine the extent of the ailment. In the meantime, quarterback Philip Rivers will utilize a WR corps composed of Steve Johnson, Dontrelle Inman, and Javontee Herndon.

Floyd had four catches on six targets for 92 yards and two touchdowns Sunday against the Ravens.
EDGE Analysis
A huge bounce back game from Floyd, who caught just one pass for seven yards in Week 7 against the Raiders. Quarterback Philip Rivers threw for 300 yards for the fifth consecutive game, and while Floyd continues to be a popular option in the passing game, his scores Sunday were his first since Week 2, as Keenan Allen continues to be the top wideout. Allen did suffer from spasms in his hip during Sunday's game, and if he has to miss any time, Floyd could be in for extra opportunities in Week 9 against the Bears.
