Arrington (concussion) was released by the Ravens on Monday, Garrett Downing reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Ravens made a handful of changes to their secondary on Monday, releasing Arrington in order to sign Brandon Boykin and Al-Hajj Shabazz. All this comes in the wake of Tavon Young's ACL tear, which will sideline the starting nickelback for the entire 2017 season. Arrington's release seemed inevitable, as the team freed up $2.8 million with his departure. After missing all of last season due to concussions, Arrington will now look to compete for a reserve spot elsewhere, if he can remain on the field.

Arrington (concussion) likely will be released once he passes a physical, Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Arrington was placed on injured reserve in August, ending his bid for the nickelback role in Baltimore's defense. Set to turn 31 before Week 1 and carrying a $2.8 million cap hit, he'll need to accept a major pay cut to have any shot of sticking with the Ravens. It's unclear if he's ready to pass a physical or is still recovering from last year's concussion.

Arrington (concussion) has been placed on the Ravens' injured reserve list.
EDGE Analysis
Arrington suffered what is being considered a concussion during the Ravens' first preseason contest, but there may be more to that story considering how he has already been deemed as out for the entire year. However, he had been considered a long shot to make the final team even before going down.

Arrington left Thursday's matchup with the Panthers to undergo concussion protocol.
EDGE Analysis
Arrington entered Thursday's preseason third on the Ravens depth chart at the left cornerback position. Don't expect him to return to action until all of his symptoms have passed if he did indeed suffer a concussion.

The Ravens have agreed to a three-year deal with Arrington, the Baltimore Sun reports. Arrington, who was released by the Patriots on Monday, bolsters the Ravens' cornerback depth behind projected starters Jimmy Smith and Lardarius Webb. As was the case during his time with New England, look for Arrington to see his share of defensive snaps while working as a slot corner for Baltimore.

Arrington was released by the Patriots on Monday, Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston reports. Arrington played in 14 games for that Patriots in 2014, but started just four. Over the course of the season, he accumulated 39 tackles (33 solo), two forced fumbles and one sack, but failed to record an interception. He signed a four-year deal with the Patriots in 2013 and was owed $3 million this year - but none was guaranteed - which may have played into the team's decision to release him.

Patriots CB Kyle Arrington is participating in the team's offseason conditioning program. Arrington suffered the injury last September and played through it all year, still grading out as a top-20 cornerback in Pro Football Focus' ratings. He should maintain a firm hold on New England's slot corner position. Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner (after his four-game suspension ends) will start outside.

ESPN Boston "wouldn't be surprised" if Kyle Arrington starts at right cornerback. Arrington was the Patriots' slot corner last season, but could be forced to start opposite Aqib Talib with Alfonzo Dennard questionable for training camp and possibly facing a suspension. Ras-I Dowling will also get an extended look, while third-round pick Logan Ryan projects as a backup and special teamer.
