Coleman remains without a team as of early July and the Bills have elected not to bring him back for a second season, Mark Gaughan of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Buffalo brass loves its old Carolina connections, but Coleman appeared past his prime last season and at 32 years of age his best bet will likely be in a backup role with a new team in need of secondary depth. The Bills aren't in that boat any more following some offseason signings and draft picks the last couple of years. Coleman finished 2019 with just three tackles and no interceptions on 70 defense snaps, as he was clearly just an insurance safety that ended up helping out on special teams.

Coleman (hamstring) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Coleman appears to have recovered from the hamstring issue that caused him to miss Week 9's win over Washington. The veteran is on track to play his usual depth role behind starting safeties Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde during Sunday's tilt in Cleveland.

Coleman, who missed Sunday's game against Washington due to a hamstring injury, was listed as limited for Wednesday's practice session, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coleman isn't desperately needed so long as stud starters Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde are healthy and doing their thing, but should injury befall one of those two, the Bills would become pretty reliant on a healthy Coleman, who's well versed in Sean McDermott's defense stemming from their Carolina days. Wednesday's practice was a step in the right direction for the veteran.

Coleman (hamstring) is inactive Week 9 against the Redskins.
EDGE Analysis
Despite logging limited practices all week, Coleman will miss his second consecutive contest, leaving roughly a 20-snap void across various special teams formations.

Coleman (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game versus Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Coleman worked as a limited participant this week and appears on track to play Week 9. The veteran safety has played only five defensive snaps in six games as he's mostly been limited to special teams.

Coleman, who missed Sunday's loss to the Eagles due to a hamstring injury, was limited for Wednesday's practice, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
That's a step up for the veteran after he was ruled out for Week 7 on Sunday morning (he sported a questionable designation after last week's practices). If he can keep trending toward the healthy side, Coleman will serve as a depth and special teams option for Sunday's game against Washington.

Coleman (hamstring) is officially inactive for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
EDGE Analysis
Coleman made an appearance on the practice field for the first time all week Friday in a limited fashion. He is usually held to a reserve role, so his absence will give Dean Marlow and Jaquan Johnson the opportunity to see more special teams action Sunday.

Coleman (hamstring) was a limited participant in Friday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Coleman got onto the practice field for the first time Friday, and now he's considered questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles. If he's unable to go, his absence would mainly affect special teams.

Coleman sat out Wednesday's first practice of the week due to a hamstring injury, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coleman suffered the injury in the second quarter of Sunday's win over Miami and didn't play the entire second half. Coleman is still looking for his first tackle of the 2019 season even though he's played in all six games for the team, mostly as a special teams player.

Coleman (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear how the reserve safety suffered the injury, but he was forced to leave the game late in the second quarter. As long as Coleman is sidelined, Dean Marlowe and Jaquan Johnson will be in line to see extra depth safety snaps.
