The Dolphins haven't ruled out the possibility of bringing Moreno back, the Palm Beach Post reports. "His rehab is going well," Dolphins GM Dennis Hickey said of Moreno, who tore his ACL last year. "We're always keeping our options open." In any case, if Miami does end up re-signing Moreno, it would be in a complementary role, with Lamar Miller set to return as the team's starting running back in 2015.

Moreno has been placed on injured reserve with a torn ACL, according to the Dolphins' official website. The announcement is very surprising, as there had been no report of Moreno even suffering a knee injury, let alone one that would end his season. Moreno, in his first year with the Dolphins after spending the first five years of his career with the Broncos, suffered a dislocated elbow in Week 2 against the Bills and had just returned last Sunday against the Packers, rushing six times for 10 yards. With Moreno now out for the season, the Dolphins' backfield belongs to Lamar Miller, with Damien Williams and Daniel Thomas battling for backup touches.

Moreno (elbow) had six carries for 10 rushing yards and one catch on one target for eight receiving yards Sunday against the Packers. After suffering a dislocated elbow in Week 2, Moreno was not expected to return for at least four-to-eight weeks, but he missed only two games thanks to the team's Week 5 bye. Lamar Miller, who had 93 total yards and a touchdown Sunday, has played well in Moreno's absence, but it's only a matter of time before the two get back into more a time-share, potentially starting as early as next Sunday against Bears.

Moreno (elbow) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Packers. Moreno is back in the Dolphins' backfield mix after suffering a dislocated elbow in Week 2. It remains unclear, however, how much action he's in line for Sunday as he bounces back from his injury, with Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald speculating that his workload might be in the 8-10 carry range. Given the continued presence of fellow RB Lamar Miller, who is averaging 5.7 yards per carry to date, Moreno is thus a hit-or-miss play this week, though working in both backs' favor, we suppose, is that the Packers are allowing a league-high 163 rushing yards per game.

Moreno (elbow), who was limited in practice this week, is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Packers, the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero reports. While Moreno's anticipated return to the lineup is good news for those who held on to him (or picked him up after he was injured), it remains unclear how much he might play on Sunday, with Salguero speculating that Lamar Miller is still expected to start and see the bulk of the Dolphins' Week 6 carries.

Moreno (elbow) was able practice again Thursday on a limited basis, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports. Meanwhile, James Walker of ESPN.com indicates that Moreno could turn into a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Packers, with the report suggesting that how well the running back is able to adapt to playing with a brace on his left arm could be a determining factor with regard to his Week 6 status.

Moreno (elbow) was limited in practice Wednesday, the Dolphins' official site reports. Moreno continues to sport a brace on his left arm, but his continued presence at practice suggests that he has a decent chance to suit up Sunday against the Packers. If he is able to play, however, it's unclear how close to a full workload he'd see (in tandem with Lamar Miller) in his return to the Dolphins' backfield.

Moreno, whose level of activity Wednesday wasn't specified, continues to sport a brace on his left arm, but his continued practice participation has him trending the right direction in advance of Sunday's game against the Packers.

Moreno, who suffered a dislocated elbow in Week 2, participated in team drills Monday with his arm in a large brace, the Palm Beach Post reports. In advance of the Dolphins' Week 5 bye, Moreno suggested that he was about four weeks away from a return, but his presence on the field Monday suggests that he has a chance to play as soon as Sunday's game against the Packers. "I'm just taking it day by day, seeing how I feel the next couple of days and go from there," Moreno said Monday, adding that if he plays this weekend, he'd likely to have use the brace that he sported on Monday. Once he returns to action, Moreno would figure to be eased back in, given the solid start that teammate Lamar Miller (averaging 5.7 yards per carry to date) is off to.

Per the Miami Herald, Moreno, who last suited up on Sept. 14, is practicing Monday. His level of participation has yet to be clarified. The report adds that Moreno, who is bouncing back from a dislocated left elbow, hopes to play as soon as Sunday against the Packers, though it's unclear at this stage how plausible such an outcome is. In any case, it looks like we could see the running back return to the Dolphins' backfield mix sooner than anticipated, and in leagues where he was let go, Moreno is worth grabbing in order to see how this situation plays out.
