Panthers signed G/C Kevin Matthews. Matthews is the son of Hall of Famer Bruce Matthews and the brother of Falcons rookie OT Jake Matthews. However, he's not quite as talented. Kevin has appeared in 17 career games, making three starts. He'll compete for a roster spot.

Titans re-signed C Kevin Matthews. Matthews was waived just two days ago. Hopefully he hadn't gone home for Thanksgiving. He'll provide interior depth against the Colts.

Titans waived C Kevin Matthews. Matthews had yet to be active since returning to the Titans in Week 11. Familiar with the Titans' system, he could be back later this season.

Redskins signed G/C Kevin Matthews. The son of Hall of Famer Bruce Matthews, Kevin is a borderline NFL player. The Titans declined to tender him as an exclusive rights free agent in March. Matthews won't be guaranteed a roster spot with the 'Skins.

Titans declined to tender exclusive rights free agent OL Kevin Matthews. Matthews is the son of Titans offensive line coach and Hall of Famer Bruce Matthews. He appeared in 14 games for Tennessee in 2012, starting two.

Titans C Kevin Matthews will miss the final two games of the season with a high-ankle sprain. He's expected to be placed on injured reserve, ending his season. Veteran roster yo-yo Kyle DeVan closed out Monday night's win as the center and is expected to remain there for Weeks 16-17.

Titans C Kevin Matthews exited Monday night's game against the Jets with a right ankle sprain. Matthews has been thrust into the starting lineup in recent weeks due to a multitude of injuries along the Tennessee line. Veteran Kyle DeVan has come on to snap the ball to Jake Locker.
