The Bengals have released Brock, NFL.com reports. The Bengals' recent selections of fellow TES Tyler Kroft and C.J. Uzomah in the NFl Draft squeezed Brock out of the mix, following a 2014 campaign in which he caught just five passes for 21 yards in 14 games.

Brock will start at tight end for the Bengals in place of the injured Jermaine Gresham in Sunday's playoff game against the Colts, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports, Ryan Hewitt also figures to see added work at tight end for the Bengals on Sunday, with neither player a particularly high-percentage play in wild card weekend fantasy lineups.
