Impending free agent DE Juqua Parker is unlikely to return to the Browns. Parker, 35 in May, signed a one-year deal with the Browns last offseason, and he put together a nice year with six sacks. Unfortunately for him, the Browns are moving to the 3-4 defense, and he doesn't have a spot. The long-time Eagle will likely have to settle for another one-year pact this offseason.

Browns agreed to terms with DE Juqua Parker on a one-year deal. The deal is for a maximum of $3 million if Parker hits all of his bonuses. Desperately seeking a right end opposite Jabaal Sheard since early last season, the Browns have smartly opted for a tag-team approach. Run-stuffer Frostree Rucker will play early downs with Parker mixing in as a pass-rushing specialist. At 34 years old, Parker can reasonably be expected to give the Browns 25 plays a game.

The Eagles are not expected to re-sign DE Juqua Parker. Parker may be a name monitored by the Saints because New Orleans' defense needs more pass rush, and new DC Steve Spagnuolo was on the Eagles' staff for two years with Parker. He will likely be available for a cheap one-year deal. The situational pass rusher turns 34 in May and managed 1.5 sacks in 2011.

Eagles DE Juqua Parker (high-ankle sprain) has been declared out for Week 4. This will be Parker's second straight absence. Fellow DE Darryl Tapp (torn pectoral muscle) will be a game-time decision after missing the past two weeks. Phillip Hunt saw the biggest increase in snaps in the absence of Parker and Tapp last week.

Eagles DE Juqua Parker did not return to Week 2's loss against the Falcons after leaving in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury. He'll be re-evaluated on Monday. He had assisted on just one tackle before going. A situational pass rusher behind Trent Cole and Jason Babin, Parker has two tackles and a fumble return for a touchdown through two games.

Eagles LE Juqua Parker agreed to a pay cut to stay on the 53-man roster. The amount is unknown, but Parker wouldn't have lasted at his scheduled $3.5 million salary. Entering his age-33 season, Parker is listed as the Eagles' No. 2 left end behind Jason Babin. Best suited for a situational role, Parker has stayed effective as a pass rusher with 14 sacks over the past two seasons.
