Stanford (undisclosed) signed with the Ravens' practice squad Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Stanford was released from injured reserve by the Panthers last Tuesday. However, it appears Stanford is back to full health. The veteran linebacker will work to try and earn a spot on the Ravens' 53-man roster.

Stanford (undisclosed) was released from injured reserve by the Panthers on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stanford was placed on IR on Aug. 30, which would have forced him to miss the entire season. Now a free agent, Stanford can pursue opportunities with other team's if he is healthy enough to play.

The Panthers placed Stanford on injured reserve for an undisclosed reason Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
While the nature of Stanford's injury isn't yet clear, he'll be forced to miss the entire 2022 season. He had appeared in every game for the Panthers over the last two years, totaling 24 tackles (12 solo) and a forced fumble.

Stanford re-signed with the Panthers on Tuesday, Darin Grantt of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The linebacker was an unrestricted free agent but returns to the Panthers after leading the team in special team's tackles last season (7). The 30-year-old has logged previous stints in the league with the Bills, Jets, Lions and Jaguars -- playing primarily on special teams during each stop.

Stanford inked a contract with the Panthers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Stanford takes the place of David Reese, who was released by the Panthers in a corresponding move, on the team's active roster. He has 11 starts under his belt and 88 games played since his debut in the league back in 2012.

Stanford participated in the Bills' offseason program and called defensive signals for the second string unit, Sal Capaccio of WGR 550 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stanford had been dealing with this ankle injury since Week 16 of last season, so his participation in any capacity is obviously good news. The 28-year-old saw a limited role on defense last season but could compete for something more if he can recover in time for training camp.

Stanford (ankle) will not play Sunday against the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
Stanford was unable to practice in any capacity this week. The Wagner product sustained the ankle injury last week against the Patriots, and it was serious enough to where Stanford had to be carted off the field. Stanford had three defensive snaps in his last five games, and therefore won't have much work to relinquish to another player.

Stanford (ankle) was Chris Brown of the Bills' official site Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Considering he was carted off the field in Sunday's loss to New England, this doesn't come as a surprise and it would seem the linebacker is a long shot to play in the finale against Miami. That would likely mean more reps for rookie Corey Thompson, whom the Bills are giving an audition for next season.

Stanford is questionable to return to Sunday's game with an ankle injury.
EDGE Analysis
Stanford had to be carted off the field which doesn't bode well for his prospects of a return. More details will likely surface following Sunday's outcome.

Stanford, subbing in for Tremaine Edmunds (concussion) played every single defensive snap during Sunday's loss to the Bears. He led the team in tackles with eight (seven solo) and picked up his first NFL sack.
EDGE Analysis
Edmunds likely won't be out too much longer, but the Bills do have a bye in Week 11 so there's a chance the team plays it safe with its prized rookie Week 10 against the Jets. That game has the potential to be sloppy for both teams with plenty of good defense being tossed around, so keep an eye on Stanford's and Edmunds' status leading into the contest.
