The NFL suspended Brown on Friday for an additional six games, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brown already served out a one-game suspension but new evidence discovered by the NFL in his domestic violence case has now led to additional punishment. The exact details of the new evidence have not been made public, but Brown has decided to accepted the suspension without appeal. He enters the 2017 season as a free agent.

Brown will be placed on the commissioner's exempt list, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
The NFL re-opened its investigation into Brown, following the release of additional documents pertaining to his May 2015 arrest for domestic violence. The Giants announced shortly thereafter that the placekicker won't travel to London for Sunday's game against the Rams. The league is now taking matters out of the team's hands, keeping Brown off the field until further notice. He may not be allowed to play again this season, and even if he is, the Giants might opt to release him.

The Giants released a statement Thursday noting that Brown won't travel with the team to London for Sunday's game against the Rams, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
With the release of new-found documents related to Brown's arrest in May of 2015 for domestic violence, the NFL has re-opened its investigation in order to see if there were additional violations of the Personal Conduct Policy. He already served a one-game suspension to kick off this season and will miss at least one more contest following Thursday's developments.

The NFL announced Thursday that the league plans to re-open its investigation into Brown, following the release of additional documents pertaining to his May 2015 domestic violence arrest.
EDGE Analysis
A statement released by the league Thursday noted "we will thoroughly review the additional information and determine next steps in the context of the NFL Personal Conduct Policy. We will not be making any comments on potential discipline until that time." The league previously suspended Brown for one game at the start of the current campaign for violating the league's Personal Conduct Policy after conducting an investigation in the wake of Brown's arrest.

Brown converted three field-goal attempts and his only PAT during the Giants' Week 5 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Since coming off suspension, Brown has attempted multiple field goals in all but one game this season, nailing nine kicks in total. While he's yet to attempt any from longer than 50 yards, he has nailed four from 40-plus, with his longest coming from 48 yards out. As long as he remains the leg of the Giants' up-tempo offense, Brown will possess a high fantasy floor at an inconsistent kicker position.

Brown was reinstated from his suspension Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The Giants stuck by him despite allegations of domestic abuse, and he's likely to be their kicker against the Saints this week.

While Brown has been suspended only one game, the Daily News reported his ex-wife told police he had been violent with her more than 20 times.
EDGE Analysis
While this report only addresses her statement to the police and does not tell his side of the story, that it came after his suspension opens a new can of worms for him and the Giants. Even though the charges were dismissed, the report is not a good look for Brown or the Giants, and you have to wonder whether they'll decide to take further action internally or even release him. They signed Brown to a two-year, $4 million in April after knowing about his arrest, but perhaps they didn't know about his wife's more detailed report to the police. Given how fungible kickers are in fantasy, and that Brown's already out one game, we'd recommend looking elsewhere at the position.

Brown has been suspended one game for a violation of the NFL Personal Conduct Policy, Art Stapleton of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 37-year-old kicker is going into his ninth season in the league and is coming off a 2015 campaign where he went 30-of-32 on field goal attempts. He'll sit out Week 1 for violating the NFL's Personal Conduct Policy, but should return as the team's main kicker shortly thereafter. Fellow kicker Tom Obarski is the current candidate to take on kicking duties in his place, barring any roster additions prior to the regular season opener.

Brown returned to practice Thursday after missing Wednesday's practice to due personal reasons, Tom Rock of Newsday Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brown's absence from training camp was brief as expected, while whatever issue he dealt with shouldn't impact his availability moving forward. The 37-year-old hasn't missed a game since 2012, a trend that doesn't appear to be in danger of changing.
