Jaguars signed S Joe Lefeged to a reserve/future contract. Lefeged is now going by the name "Joe Young." He appeared in all 32 games for the Colts from 2011-2012 as a special teams player and part-time defensive back before being cut after four games in 2013. Young was popped on gun charges back in June.

Lefeged has been charged with carrying a firearm without a license, possessing an unregistered firearm and ammunition and possessing a firearm in a motor vehicle. A 2011 undrafted free agent, Lefeged has appeared in all 16 games each of the past two seasons.

Updating an earlier story, Colts S Joe Lefeged was arrested for multiple gun-related offenses overnight in Washington, D.C., after fleeing police during a traffic stop. Lefeged, 25, was in a vehicle with another man when police attempted to stop the vehicle. After an unspecified chase the two were arrested, said Officer Araz Alali, a D.C. police spokesman. A handgun was found in the vehicle, Alali said. Lefeged is being arraigned this afternoon on various charges, including: carrying a firearm without license, unregistered firearm, unregistered ammunition and presence of a firearm in a motor vehicle.

He's averaged 25.8 yards on four returns, maintaining an edge over WR David Gilreath (20.0) and RB Chad Spann (16.8). Gilreath appears to have punt-return duties locked up.
