Panthers SS Jermale Hines is expected to be the Panther's third safety in Week 8 against the Vikings. Backup safety Jordan Pugh has not practiced since his concussion at Atlanta two weeks ago and is doubtful for Sunday's game. It's a minor upgrade for Christian Ponder and Percy Harvin, who should be in line for a plus matchups against Carolina's injury depleted defense.
