Cunningham (Achilles) was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday, the Jets' official website reports. Cunningham tore his Achilles tendon during the Jets' intrasquad scrimmage on Saturday and will now require surgery. Expected to miss the entire upcoming season, Cunningham lands on IR and potentially opens up a roster spot for another outside linebacker.
