Hyatt is expected to be the Giants' top backup wide receiver in 2024 following the team's selection of Malik Nabers with the No. 6 overall pick in last week's NFL Draft, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hyatt injured his hamstring in the season finale against the Eagles but is presumably over the issue by now and is coming off a rookie season that saw him secure 23 of 40 targets for 373 scoreless yards. He did average a strong 16.2 yards per catch, but the number of catchable passes thrown his way were few and far between as a downfield threat. Darius Slayton is expected to open the season opposite Nabers, with Wan'Dale Robinson in the slot, though the Giants would likely prefer to see Hyatt push Slayton for snaps.

Hyatt (hamstring) won't return to Sunday's game against the Eagles, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hyatt sustained a hamstring injury on a five-yard catch in the first half and will not return to Sunday's contest. He will finish his rookie season with 23 catches for 373 yards over 17 games.

Hyatt caught three of four targets for 25 yards in Sunday's loss to the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
After being shut out each of the past two weeks, Hyatt bounced back to some extent with his highest receiving yardage total since he exploded for 109 yards against New England in Week 12. It was still a modest performance for the rookie wideout, as he tied for fifth on the team in catches and ranked fifth in receiving yards. Hyatt will have a chance to put a positive final spin on his first NFL campaign next week in a home matchup against the Eagles.

Hyatt was not targeted in the passing game in the Giants' loss to Philadelphia on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Hyatt logged 35 offensive snaps -- 56 percent of the team's total -- Monday, third-highest among Giants receivers. However, he didn't see the ball come his way a single time, marking the fourth time this season that he's failed to draw any targets. It was also the second straight week without a catch for the rookie, and he's accumulated just two catches for 13 yards over his past three games after seeming to break out with a five-catch, 109-yard effort against the Patriots in Week 12 before the Giants had their bye. Hyatt has been on the field enough to make an impact throughout the campaign, but with highly inconsistent production and mostly poor quarterback play behind him, he's been a non-factor in most fantasy formats.

Hyatt caught five of six targets for 109 yards in Sunday's 10-7 win over the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
Hyatt got free downfield for catches of 29 and 41 yards en route to a career high in receiving yards. Fellow deep threat Darius Slayton (neck) was active after being doubtful heading into Sunday's game but was limited to 16 yards on three targets while Hyatt capitalized on his increased role with the best game of his rookie season. The Giants' third-round selection in the 2023 NFL Draft (73rd overall) will look to build on this promising performance in Week 14 against the Packers following a Week 13 bye.

Hyatt has cleared the NFL's five-step concussion protocol and doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Washington, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hyatt was placed in the concussion protocol after this past Sunday's 49-17 loss to the Cowboys, but he has recovered in time to face the Commanders in Week 11. The rookie wide receiver has a pair of catches over 40 yards among his 11 receptions this season, but Hyatt will be catching passes from third-string quarterback Tommy DeVito on Sunday.

Hyatt (concussion) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hyatt suffered a concussion this past Sunday at Dallas, and after kicking off Week 11 prep with no on-field work Wednesday, he made noticeable progress one day later by putting in some work. Still, he likely has multiple steps to take in his quest through the protocol for head injuries, the last of which will be gaining clearance from an independent neurologist. Hyatt will need to do so by Saturday in order to be available Sunday in Washington.

Hyatt (concussion) won't practice Wednesday, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hyatt entered the concussion protocol in the second half of Sunday's 49-17 loss to the Cowboys, making his status for Week 11 against the Commanders uncertain. The rookie third-round pick will need to clear the five-step protocol before being allowed to resume game action.

Hyatt won't return to Sunday's game against the Cowboys due to a concussion, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hyatt went to the locker room in the second half of Sunday's matchup and will be unavailable down the stretch due to his concussion. It's not yet clear whether he'll be available for next Sunday's game against the Commanders.

Hyatt finished Sunday's Week 9 loss to the Raiders with two catches on five targets for 19 yards.
EDGE Analysis
Hyatt tied for second on New York with five targets, but those opportunities yielded limited production. The rookie speedster did at least manage to turn things around a bit after he failed to garner a target last week against the Jets, but Hyatt's role and performance continue to vary wildly from week to week. He has failed to register a catch in four different contests this season, but Hyatt has also posted an 89-yard effort (in Week 2 against Arizona) and a 75-yard performance (in Week 7 against Washington). Daniel Jones may have suffered a season-ending knee injury Sunday, leaving the Giants' already struggling passing game potentially in the hands of rookie UDFA Tommy DeVito and/or veteran backup Matt Barkley for at least the next several weeks. That doesn't help Hyatt's outlook, but even with Jones behind center the young wideout hasn't been able to put up the type of consistent numbers to make him a reliable fantasy asset.
