Troy Polamalu and Mike Wallace will not be getting contract extensions from the Steelers this season.
Both stars are entering the final year of their respective contracts. But after the Steelers handed out big contracts to Ike Taylor, Willie Colon, Lawrence Timmons and Lamarr Woodley, there's no money left. Polamalu could be hit with the franchise tag next offseason while the Steelers should have no problem retaining Wallace as a restricted free agent.
yeah I agree.. Some people are worried they brought back a lot of players from last year.. But do remember that same team was in the superbowl and most of those resigned are on a short leash with 1 year contracts.. The steelers out of all teams probably has the best shot to repeat..

This is a non-concern for the steelers..

And a good move too. See if Polamalu can stay healthy. See if Wallace continues to improve.

Secondary is atrocious though

I don't agree with that lol can't be considered the number 1 defense if the secondary is "atrocious"..
