Raiders coach Hue Jackson attributed Darrius Heyward-Bey's reduced Week 9 role to certain "sets" in which Heyward-Bey was not involved. Heyward-Bey entered the game as Oakland's best receiver for the past month, so it was surprising to see him with scant playing time against the Broncos. He didn't catch a pass and was targeted just once. Jacoby Ford started over Heyward-Bey opposite Denarius Moore. We suspect something other than offensive "sets" was up with Heyward-Bey. His fantasy value is tenuous.

Would have been nice to have some warning about this. He looked like Palmer's favorite target, and then to only be thrown at one time? Seriously?

Agreed. Now I don't know what to do with him. Dump him or hold on. These coaches cannot make up their minds who their playmakers are...F*&K
