Morris had 22 carries for 85 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 41-10 win over the Jaguars.
With quarterback Robert Griffin knocked out of the game in the first quarter with an ankle injury and wide receiver DeSean Jackson forced out later with a shoulder injury, the Redskins relied heavily on Morris to grind out a victory. Roy Hely also suffered an injury Sunday, and if he is forced to miss any time, Morris could grab even more carries, with Silas Redd also likely to see an uptick in usage.
It's hard to find a work horse these days as a running back. Most are cute and fast like thoroughbreds and gets hurt easily like them. Morris is durable and can grind the clock.
