Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson left Tuesday's practice after suffering a thigh injury, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Peterson reportedly sustained a bruised thigh when a teammate fell on him during a drill and he was relegated to the sidelines for the remainder of practice. "He got tangled up," Peterson's teammate Jerick McKinnon said. "A defender fell on him, but he said he was alright. Everybody knows Adrian's got a cape on. He'll be back out here tomorrow. I don't think anybody's worried about him." McKinnon's words were reinforced by those of a source close to the team who said Peterson would be fine. The 30-year-old's removal from practice was likely only precautionary, and he is not expected to miss much additional time, if any. Peterson is unlikely to play much during the Vikings' first preseason game this week, but the team will get him some reps as the preseason schedule progresses.
