Isaac Redman (stinger) was a full participant in Steelers practice Monday, and confirmed he'll run as the starter during Le'Veon Bell's (foot) absence.

Redman will start but Jones will get afew carries Redman will get the bulk load If Howling can play he will get afew as well and I expect the hot hand to get the start threw out the rest the year till bell returns

isaac redman or montee ball?

Travis2Cool Mon 9/2/13 8:19 PM

ball is gonna be more of a sproles/Lt/bush role at denver while hillman gets the normal workload. redman might produce for a few weeks but Id take ball

you realize that Ball is the better "between the tackles" runner and Hillman is the better receiver of the two, right?

Ball can't pass protect and neither can Hillman. Peyton goes down and those 2 won't play much. Moreno is the guy to own. Superior pass protection. Ball may have upside but Moreno IMO is going to end up the best RB for Denver as long as he stays healthy.

I say Moreno for the first 4 games or so. They'll get Ball up to speed on pass-pro-eventually. Or get a little more comfortable with Hillman's ball-security.

Moreno just isn't a very good RB. But if I'm starting one of them this week, its him.

I like Moreno. Between being hurt and being behind mcgahee I think it's been tough for him to get a chance. Plus the quarterbacking wasn't what Peyton brings to the team. They no longer stack the box. If I was one of these " PROFESSIONAL" FF journalists I'd be putting Moreno as a sleeper. I think he's the best guy for the job. Ball is no Trent Richardson. Rookie RBs aren't always ready for the big league. Hillman.... Blah.

I agree Hillman and Ball are overhyped, but at least there's a chance we're wrong on one of them. moreno has had plenty of opportunity to show us how much he sucks. Everybody seems to be clinging to the fact that he was so good in fantasy at the end of last year. It was only because he was getting all the touches (because no one else was healthy). Even with Peyton in there he was averaging like 3ypc.
