Danny Woodhead rushed for 36 yards on nine carries and caught five passes for 47 yards in Week 6 versus the Colts.
It was a normal day at the office for Woodhead. The nine carries matched a season-high, which he has now done three times. Colts linebackers struggle in coverage, and Woodhead took advantage of that on a couple of third-down pickups. The 5-foot-8 diminutive back squirted through a couple of tight creases in the run game, as well. Woodhead saw a couple of red-zone carries but failed to find the end zone for the first time since Week 3. He remains a solid PPR RB3/flex.
san diego doesnt want to use him as a KR...he only did it when they released their main KR and now have Lavelle Hawkins returning kicks and Keenan Allen as their PR guy. he will do it as backup only
