Blount had 16 carries for 93 yards and a touchdown and one reception for an 11-yard touchdown in Sunday's 34-27 win over the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
This wasn't like last year's games against the Colts when the Patriots repeatedly used power-running formations from the very start of the contest. They instead relied on their unstoppable (so far) short passing attack, occasionally mixing in some power stuff for Blount. No matter, the 250-pounder found his way to another huge game against the Colts, first ripping off a 38-yard touchdown on the ground, then scoring on a flip from Tom Brady on a broken pass play. Blount got seven of his 16 carries (plus his receiving touchdown) in the fourth quarter, so his usage wasn't really any different from the past few weeks. With a tough Week 7 matchup against the Jets on deck, Blount figures to take a backseat to Dion Lewis.
