Bears worked out free agent running back Steve Slaton on Saturday but are leaning towards re-signing Kahlil Bell. Matt Forte was injured in Week 2 and will likely miss a month or more with a high ankle sprain, so Chicago is on the lookout for some depth behind Michael Bush and Armando Allen. Bell was cut by the Bears at the end of August after, reportedly, refusing to take a pay cut.
