Kitchen signed with the Bucs on Monday, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The former Brown immediately practiced with the Bucs following the signing and stood out on the field at 330 pounds. Kitchen totaled 78 tackles with the Browns from 2012-14, but failed to log any statistics last season while with the Lions and Patriots. He's expected to provide some depth behind the Bucs' top triumverate of Gerald McCoy, Clinton McDonald and Akeem Spence.

Kitchen was waived by the Browns on Tuesday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Browns waived goodbye to two established nose tackles in both Kitchen and former first-round pick Phil Taylor, clearing the way for 2015 first-rounder Danny Shelton to man the three-technique spot. After recording a career-high 43 tackles in only 12 games last season, Kitchen may not have to wait long to find work.

Kitchen was credited with eight combined tackles (three solo) in Sunday's loss to the Browns. Although regular starter Ahtyba Rubin (back) was active for the contest, Kitchen was able to out-produce his fellow nose tackle. The two have battled through injuries this season, and neither have been highly productive from an IDP standpoint.

Kitchen recorded five solo tackles in Sunday's loss to the Jaguars. Kitchen drew the start in favor of Ahtyba Rubin, who was inactive Sunday due to an ankle injury. The veteran had a productive afternoon, but risks seeing a reduced snap count once the team's defensive line returns to full strength.
