Pleasant made seven tackles across five games with the Packers. He also made one tackle in one game with the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Pleasant made one tackle with the Cardinals before being cut by the team in mid-November, and ultimately landing in Green Bay. The 30-year-old then played a depth role with the Packers for the remainder of the regular season, though his usage can largely be attributed to numerous injuries in the secondary. Pleasant is set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Pleasant signed a contract with the Packers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Pleasant was released by the Cardinals earlier in November, and will now take the place of Korey Toomer on Green Bay's 53-man roster. The seventh-year pro will bring depth and a veteran presence to the Packers' injury-riddled secondary group.

Pleasant signed a contract with the Cardinals on Saturday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pleasant spent the preseason with the Patriots but was released just before roster cutdowns at the end of August. Prior to this season, the 29-year-old spent his first six seasons with the Texans serving as a depth option in the secondary, and is likely to have a similar role with the Cardinals.

Pleasant was released by the Patriots on Sunday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pleasant was a longshot to crack the 53-man roster in a Patriots secondary that is loaded at the safety position. The veteran could be a decent addition elsewhere, though, and New England gave him plenty of time to land a new contract with two weeks to go before the start of the regular season.

Pleasant signed a contract with the Patriots on Monday, Patrick D. Starr of Houston's SportsTalk790 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pleasant has spent the past six seasons with the Texans as a depth safety option, with his best season coming in 2015 when he registered his first two interceptions and his first forced fumble, while setting a career highs with 36 tackles and six passes defensed. The veteran will add some depth to the Patriots secondary after Nate Ebner (knee), Cyrus Jones (knee) and Jonathan Jones (knee) were all placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list.

Pleasant had four tackles (three solo), two sacks and one forced fumble against the Rams on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Pleasant has never posted over a half sack in a season before, so he quadrupled that his career high Sunday. However, he's still the No. 3 safety in Houston and has only logged over 30 snaps in a game once this season, making it difficult to summon him in most fantasy formats.

Pleasant has signed a two-year contract with the Texans, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pleasant had his best season as a professional in 2015, his fourth professional season. He had his first two interceptions and his first forced fumble, and he set career highs with 36 tackles and six passes defensed. Along with the career-best line, Pleasant played 36.6 percent of the Texans' defensive snaps last season, a career high, and he played 44.6 percent of the team's special teams snaps. Those changes indicate he's steadily getting a larger role on the defense, and his statistical improvement is promising for the coming season. He'll likely see an increased role on defense, but it would be surprising if he suddenly becomes relevant in many IDP leagues.

Pleasant has been working with the first-team defense at OTAs, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports. Rahim Moore will start at one safety spot, leaving Pleasant, Stevie Brown, and perhaps Terrance Parks or Lonnie Ballentine to compete for the other starting job. Houston's decision to release D.J. Swearinger in May suggests the team will emphasize coverage skills over hard hitting. Pleasant, a 2012 UDFA, has barely played on defense to this point in his career. Brown has far more experience and is the favorite to start, regardless of how the snaps are being divided at OTAs.
